Performing holiday favorites while doing roving mini-concerts, this a cappella quartet can work in most settings. Since 2001, VoiceQuad has been Easton Town Center’s most popular caroling act during the holiday season. Why are the VoiceQuad’s caroling shows so popular? Two reasons: their fearlessness in the face of all holiday requests (even to the point of making up works and tunes they don’t know!) and the boundless basket of jingle bells that they use to draw audiences of all ages into the winter wonderland of song. For most holiday performances the group dresses in traditional Victorian costumes although other attire is available on request.
In addition to holiday merriment, VoiceQuad can rally your Ohio spirits with their renditions of tailgating favorites like “Fight the Team”, “Buckeye Battle Cry”, “Hang on Sloopy”, and “Carmen, Ohio”. Four voices cover a whole football field of sound with other marching band style tunes such as “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “The Pink Panther”.
For a variety of other events, the VoiceQuad’s smooth jazz style will warm your event with standards such as “I Got Rhythm”, “Java Jive”, “A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square”, and “My Funny Valentine”. Madrigals provide a refreshing yet sophisticated interlude, and classics like the Beatles’ “Can’t Buy Me Love” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” set this quartet’s ever-expanding repertoire apart.
