Dean Simms and the Hot Notes

Virtuoso trumpeter Dean Simms, as Satchmo, leads an amazing tribute to the master himself, Louis Armstrong. His singing style as well as his playing, showmanship and on-stage is truly remarkable.

Though able to perform full tribute shows to Louis Armstrong, Dean Simms is also well versed in many styles and genres. With his wonderful band, the Hot Notes, Dean plays shows complete with jazz, Motown, pop, disco and rock and roll.  He has played or recorded lead trumpet with many famous acts, such as the Ohio Players, Rick James Stone City Band, Peabo Bryson, Little Anthony, Roger Troutman, and many more.
