Terrance Charles

Terrance Charles is a saxophone player and vocalist from Cleveland, who has become known for his soulful creative contributions to the music scene in Columbus and nationally.

For 10 years, Terrance has shared the stage as a reedman with local acts including The Floorwalkers, Doc Robinson, Forest & The Evergreens and Earl St. Clair. Recently, he has stepped up from his sideman role to lead a collective of musicians who are fusing contemporary jazz and soul for his Terrance and Friends series.

Terrance studied classical saxophone at Youngstown State University and continued his studies at The Ohio State University in jazz studies.
